Objective Assessments.
Clearer Understanding.
Informed Next Steps.
-
At Clarity Cognitive Consultants, we believe that a clearer understanding of how you think, learn, communicate, and function can be an important step toward understanding yourself and deciding what comes next.
Our consultations use a structured clinical process that brings together relevant history, current concerns, standardized measures, clinically appropriate cognitive or performance-based assessments, and—when helpful and authorized—information from people who know you well.
We look beyond a single questionnaire or test score. Adult ADHD and autism can present in varied ways, particularly when individuals have developed sophisticated strategies to compensate or adapt. Similarly, questions about memory and cognitive functioning deserve consideration within the broader context of an individual's history, everyday functioning, and relevant medical and lifestyle factors.
Our goal is not simply to administer measures or produce a label. It is to organize and interpret the available information, explain what the findings may—and may not—tell us, and identify appropriate next steps.
Each consultation includes individualized feedback and a professionally prepared written report documenting relevant history, assessment findings, clinical impressions, limitations, and recommendations.

Clinical Integrity
We practice within a defined clinical scope and take the limitations of telehealth consultation seriously. When a question requires a different level of evaluation or care, we will say so and recommend an appropriate next step.Respect & Context
There is no single way ADHD, autism, or cognitive differences present in adulthood. We recognize that individuals may mask, compensate, develop extensive coping strategies, or experience differences that are not immediately apparent to others. Your experiences deserve to be understood in context.Transparency
You should know what you are paying for, what a consultation includes, what it does not include, and what to expect afterward. We communicate our fees, process, scope, limitations, and referral pathways before services begin.Privacy
Your personal and health information deserves careful protection. We use secure digital systems and privacy-conscious workflows designed to support the appropriate handling of protected health information.Collaboration
A consultation should provide useful information beyond the appointment itself. With appropriate authorization, findings can be shared with a physician, healthcare professional, attorney, estate-planning professional, or other designated professional when appropriate.Access
We recognize that specialized assessment can be difficult to access. Clarity is designed to reduce unnecessary barriers through a streamlined telehealth model, transparent pricing, and clearly defined consultation pathways. -
Clarity Cognitive Consultants was created to provide a more focused approach to adult cognitive and neurodevelopmental assessment.
Too often, individuals seeking answers encounter long waitlists, fragmented assessment pathways, or evaluations that leave them with more information than clarity. Clarity was designed around a different premise: start with the question, gather the information that is relevant to it, interpret findings within their proper context, and provide a clear record of what the evaluation does—and does not—show.
The practice serves adults seeking greater understanding of neurodevelopmental patterns and cognitive functioning, as well as families and professional referral partners who need objective, thoughtfully interpreted information.
Clarity also provides a specialized consultation pathway for situations in which cognitive functioning may be relevant to important personal or estate-planning considerations. In these circumstances, the role of the practice is to provide clinical assessment and documentation within its defined scope—not legal advice or a legal determination of capacity.

The Clarity Process
-

01 — Start with an Inquiry
Tell us what you’re experiencing and what you’re hoping to understand.
We begin by learning about your concerns and the question you want the consultation to address. We first determine whether Clarity’s services are appropriate for your needs and the scope of the question.
-

02 — Complete Your Intake & Assessment
Complete your secure intake, questionnaires, and applicable digital assessments before your consultation.
You’ll provide relevant developmental, medical, functional, and personal history through our secure digital process. Your clinician reviews the information and any relevant records before your clinical evaluation.
-

03 — Meet to Review Your Findings
Your evaluation brings together history, standardized measures, objective assessment data, and clinical interview findings.
Once the assessment is complete, you’ll meet for an individualized feedback session to review the major findings, discuss their meaning and limitations, and identify appropriate next steps.
-

04 — Receive Your Report & Share Findings
Receive a professionally prepared consultation report documenting the evaluation and its findings.
Your report summarizes relevant history, assessment findings, clinical impressions, limitations, and recommended next steps. With your written authorization, findings can be shared with your physician, healthcare professional, attorney, estate-planning professional, or other designated professional when appropriate.
Meet the Founder
Dante’ Peterson, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC
Founder & Clinical Lead
Dante’ Peterson is a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in thoughtful, evidence-informed assessment and consultation for adults.
She founded Clarity Cognitive Consultants to provide a more focused, accessible approach to questions surrounding neurodevelopment, executive functioning, and cognitive health—without placing individuals into an open-ended treatment relationship.
Her approach brings together clinical interview, standardized assessment measures, relevant functional information, objective performance-based data, and individualized clinical interpretation to develop a cohesive picture of the individual and the question being evaluated.
The result is a professionally documented consultation designed to provide meaningful insight for clients and, when appropriate and authorized, the physicians, healthcare professionals, attorneys, and other professionals involved in their planning and decision-making.
